John J. Amodio is Vice President with Commerce Bank, a publicly owned bank with over 270 locations in New York, New Jersey, Delaware and Pennsylvania.  He is responsible for establishing both lending and deposit relationships with businesses, especially on Staten Island.  He has over 35 years experience in financial services, management and marketing.  He has had his own management consulting firm assisting chief executive officers and other top management personnel of various industries in the development and implementation of strategic plans.  

He has been the president and CEO of a community oriented commercial bank and the president of a corporation that operates well known restaurants.  John started his career with one of the "big four" public accounting firms and is a CPA.  John has been a Former Chairman/President of the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce and now serves again on its Board of Directors.  His community activities are extensive and they include being a board Member and Past Chairman of  Meals on Wheels, Chairman of the Staten Island Rotary Foundation and Chairman of  S.C.O.R.E. Advisory Council. 

He has been a lecturer at various seminars sponsored by his companies, S.C.O.R.E., Staten Island Chamber of Commerce, The Small Business Development Center, The College of Staten Island, St. John's University and Wagner College.
