What is SCORE?
SCORE, Counselors to America’s Small
Business, is a non-profit association and a resource partner with the
U.S. Small Business Administration.
SCORE is dedicated to entrepreneurial education and the formation,
growth, and success of small businesses.
SCORE members are trained to serve as counselors, advisors, and
mentors to aspiring entrepreneurs and business owners.
SCORE was formed in 1964 and nearly 4.5 million Americans have
utilized SCORE services.

SCORE volunteers serve as "Counselors to
America's Small Business."
Working and retired executives and business owners donate their
time and expertise as volunteer business counselors and provide
confidential counseling and mentoring free of charge.
SCORE volunteers provide expertise in virtually every area of
business management. To
help SCORE assign proper counselors, a national skills bank is utilized
to help identify the best counselors for its clients.
